Captain Bryne Tantzer - {Protagonist} He is a rogue, King of his lost land Miren, now to his people of Firth. He is sophisticated, intelligent, well bred, mean and harsh yet kind hearted and peaceful deep down. He seeks the fabled treasure and the power it brings with it. He will stop at nothing to get what he desires, even if it means destroying himself in the end.
Zusa - Tantzer's dog and faithful frined.
Sea Hag (Hag) - Tantzer's ship.
Rex Rackham - Tantzer's 1st Mate, friend and confidant. He is loyal, an expert sailor, protective of his King/Captain, level headed, and observant - he sees what others miss.
Salacia - {heroine} - She is the Queen of the Elementals, yet Man no longer remembers or knows about the Lands of Legends where she comes from. She was born of the water element but can control all of them as Queen. She is loved by her people, smart, very old compared to man. Once she meets Tantzer, her life changes forever.

Bryne De Barry - she follows Tantzer, always just out of reach, out of sight. She desires the crown and his gold both. She has a bad temper, but is an excellent sailor.
Lord Pierce Du Bois {antagonist} - He rules Par, the largest of the lands. He is pompous and weak, hated by all. He wants only power and gold at any cost. He is afraid of Tantzer and desires her power and wealth.
Valen - De Barry's 1st Mate. He is the calm to De Barry's storm. They make a good team since he controls his chaos.
Rheum - is a great sea monster to Man. The last of his kind. He is a friend to Salacia
